About Me

Hey friends! I’m Sarah and the most difficult part about assembling this blog was writing this bio.

This year my husband and I had a baby and moved from our one bedroom apartment in Queens to a money pit house in the suburbs north of Manhattan. In the space of a few months I traded a full-time marketing job at a major business magazine, extended lunches that often involved sangria, chips and guac, nights spent indulging in bottles of wine, and weekends spent sleeping in and shopping for middle of the night feedings, 6 a.m. wake up calls and a new job as a stay at home mom with a boss who can’t speak, wipe his own ass or keep more than fifty percent of his food from coming right back up again.

When I’m not changing a diaper, I enjoy running and exercising in general (no seriously, I really enjoy it! Go ahead, slap me.), reading and talking about books, words (the bigger and more obscure the better), sticking my son underneath his playmate so I can immerse myself in my iPhone, and making and eating embarrassing amounts of baked goods.

One day I’d like to have a house on the water, several unforgettable trips with my family stored in my memory banks, and grown kids who come to visit Mike and I not just for the free lodging, water views and chocolate chip cookies, but also for our company.

I’m happy, I’m flawed, and I’m just dumb enough to put it all out there for the world to see.
